The Rüegg® Surprise can also be used as a pure patio fireplace / patio oven WITHOUT a grill function. In this case you don't need griddles. Cooking with pots and pans on the firebox is also possible WITHOUT grill plates. If you would like to use the Surprise as a grill, please order grill plates. The Surprise can be topped with 6 grill plates. How many grill plates you want to use, which type you want to use and in which order you place them can be decided anew with each grilling process.
